I am going to be listing the top 10 best cities/towns to visit in Texas.
New Braunfels At number 10 we have New Braunfels a city known for its German heritage and culture. New Braunfels is one of the most cultural and charming town in all of Texas known for being the place to be in the summer. I am sure a lot of you already knew this but for those of you who did not, New Braunfels is home to Schlittbhan water park the largest and best water park in Texas. This water park is one of the main reasons people come to this town. This water park also has bine ranked the number one water park in the world several times. Outside of the towns strong German presence and the water park the town is also known for being the tubing capital of Texas mostly because of the Comal River and the famous Guadalupe River. Although the city is packed and bustling in the summer the city is pretty limited on things to do in the winter which is part of the reason why this town is not ranked higher on my list, but if you want a nice getaway in the summer, New Braunfels is the place to go
Forth Worth At number 9 we have Forth worth, Dallas's little western brother. Although this city is often in the shadows of Dallas fort worth has a good amount of unique western things to do. This city is arguably the most western city in all of Texas. First I am going to start off talking about the Main reason people come to this city, the Fort Worth stockyards. The stockyard is a famous cowboy district where real life cattle is driven down the street twice a day. That is not all there is to the stockyard There are also restraints, old western shops, museums, tours, and pretty much everything western. This city is also known as the rodeo capital of Texas, where the rodeo does often occur. Although the city may not have a lot of stuff to do compared to other cities on this list the stockyards are so amazing that it is still worth going to this city. Remember if you want to experience a true western city, Fort Worth is where you should go.
Galveston At number 8 we have Galveston, the most visited beach city in Texas. Galveston was founded in 1839 and became a major port, nicknamed the "Ellis island of the south." Galveston has alot of things to do but the biggest is there beach which is perfect for families and fishing. Galveston is one of the best places for fishing in Texas specifically the famous Galveston fishing pier. Galveston is also known for being the biggest cruise port in Texas where cruises such as disney, carnival, and royal caribean all go out of Galveston. If you are not looking to do anything involving water and are looking for different types of activities Galveston also has Moody gardens, Pleasure pier, and the best mini golf course in my opinion that I have ever bine too. For those of you wondering what Pleasure pier is it is a giant amusement park that is famous for being right on the water. Galveston also suposedly has a history involving ghosts, which is why they offer ghost tours where you go around the city going to "haunted" areas and buildings. Last but not least Galveston also has some of the best seafood in Texas with resturants such as Millers seawall grill, Katie's seafood, and buba Gump which is a forest gumb themed restraunt. I know alot of people reading this article who love the beach say Galveston should be hire up on my list but the beach and city of Galveston is overall not that clean. I am sure if you have bine to any other beach, you would say it is better than the Galveston beach. So if you are looking for a nice beatch city with a lot to do, Galveston might just be the place for you.
Big bend At number 7 we have Terlingua the city home to the famous Big bend national park. I know a lot of people are surprised this city even made the list, so let me start of by saying I personally have no desire to go to big bend, which I think is just a boring national park. While a lot of people would agree with what I just said, to the people who love nature they would say the chance to go to big bend is a once in a lifetime opportunity that should not be taken for granted. The reason big bend is so high on this list is because it is the biggest national park in Texas, and one of the largest in the US, it has the best skies for stargazing in Texas, and has the tallest mountains in Texas. Something that makes Big bend truly spectacular is that is hase 3 different ecosystems all in one national park, which not many places in Texas can say. Despite all of this the city also has some negatives, such as other than big bend and the Rio grande river there is really nothing else to do, and there are a lot of dangerous animals in the city such as Mountain Lions, and wild Bears. All in all, although I don't really care to go to Big bend, for those of you who love nature, and have never bine, Big bend is the place for you.
Fredicsburg At number six we have the town of Fredicsburg famous for being the wine capital of Texas, the best German town in Texas, and home to the famous echnated rock. This bustling popular tourist destination get visitors from all over Texas. When I say they are the whine capital of the state, they have the most wineries on one street than any other place in Texas. A lot of the famous wineries include Becker vineyards, grape creek vineyards, and the most famous of the wines the rhinore. The rhinory is a whinery that has a real life Rhino that guests can watch as they drink there whine or explore the expansive property. Fredisburg is one of the best hill country towns for shopping with stores such as the fredicsburg general store, hill country outfitters, and cowboy jacks western wear.
This is strait garbage! I could never imagine paying for this list if citys, because that is all it is, a list. Their is no ranking in this onesoever, their is nothing said that make one city better and worse than anouther. Even though their are reasons some of them are bad, you never state why they are ranked this way at all, they all seem equal and balanced with what you uave provides. And dont get me stared on the grammer mistakes!
